Wilma Adamcik Neckar, age 87 of West, Texas, formerly of Tours, passed away Monday morning, May 6, 2002 in West, Texas.

Rosary was recited at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:15 a.m. Thursday in St. Martin's Catholic Church, with Rev. Isidore Rozycki as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mrs. Neckar was born August 16, 1914, in McLennan County, Texas, and had lived in West until moving to Tours, Texas, in 1967. She was a member of Tours Hall with her husband Robert V. Neckar for a number of years, and also was a member of K.J.Z.T. Society #45 of Tours.

Mrs. Neckar was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Adamcik, who died May 24, 1963, and her daughter, Dorothy Hykel, who died March 16, 2000. She married Robert Neckar May 13, 1967 at West, and he preceded her in death on January 27, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Henry Cinek, and three sisters, Vlasta Rejcek, Hattie Sulak and Ida Dolezal.

Mrs. Neckar is survived by three grandsons, Mark Hykel of Plano, David Hykel and wife Tracey of Bedford and Christ Hykel and wife Susan of Plano; a son-in-law, Robert Hykel of DeSoto; three brothers, Alfons Cinek, Ervin Cinek and Robert Cinek, all of West; a sister, Irene Pustejovsky and husband, John of Arlington; four stepsons, Robert R. Neckar of Lacy Lakeview, Edward J. Neckar and wife Jeannie of Colorado Springs, Colorado, James R. Neckar and wife Mary Ann, and David Neckar and wife Lorrainie, all of Tours; three stepdaughters, Marie and husband Robert Nors of Abbott, Frances and husband James Buchanan of Missouri City, and Cathy and husband Dudley Allen of Robinson; twenty-two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and twenty-eight step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Active Pallbearers were Mark Hykel, David Hykel, Chris Hykel, Michael Cason, Larry Rejcek and Lance Allen.

The family received visitors at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
