NAZARETH - Christina Hoelting, 93, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, in Dimmitt.

Divine Mercy will be said at 7:30 p.m. today in Holy Family Catholic Church, followed by vigil services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the church with the Rev. Ken Keller, Rev. Nick Gerber and Deacon Tom Pohlmeier as celebrants. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.

Christina was born May 27, 1916, in Nazareth to Joseph and Anna Albracht. She was a lifelong member of Holy Family Parish. She was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and Christian Mothers Society. She will be remembered for her love of prayer, spending time with her family and her baking.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Greg Hoelting; her parents; four sisters, Mary Brockman, Adeline Pohlmeier, Ledwina Pohlmeier and Veronica Heiman; a special sister-in-law, Sister Norbert Hoelting; four brothers, Florence Albracht, Matt Albracht, Andy Albracht and Elmer Albracht.

Survivors include three sons, Denis Hoelting and wife Judy of Arvada, Colo., Leroy Hoelting and wife Colette of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Marvin Hoelting and wife Carol of Westminster, Colo.; two daughters Mary Lou Schmucker and husband Ray of Nazareth and Anna Hoelting and husband Charlie of Hannaman; nine grandsons, Tim, Mark, Scott, Ben, Johnny, Chris, Brad, Tyler and Craig; 11 granddaughters, Denise, Heidi, Gretchen, Katrina, Sandy, Pam, LaDawn, Debbie, Natalie, Melinda and Jill; 45 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a brother-in-law Nub Hoelting; and three sisters-in-law, Mary Albracht, Mary Hoelting and Maurine Hoelting.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Prayer Town Emmanuel, P.O. Box 64, Prayer Town, TX 79010-0064; or Holy Family Cemetery Fund, in care of Holy Family Catholic Church, 205 St. Joseph St., Nazareth, TX 79063
