Hyrum Hirschi's Mother Dies
Mr and Mrs Hyrum Hirschi went to Geneva Tuesday at attend funeral services in the Geneva Ward Chapel for Hyrum's mother, Mrs Freda Messerli Hirschi, 74, who died Friday in the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
She was born July 9, 1886 at Konton, Bern, Switzerland to Jacob and Rosina Ruckti Messerli. She came to the United States in 1901. She married Raynold Hirschi Aug 17, 1905 at Paris, Idaho. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple.
Mrs Raynold Herschi loved nature and enjoyed many camping trips on Greys River.
She is survived by her husband, stepmother Elisa Messerli Salt Lake City, five sons besides Hyrum and six daughters.
Burial was in the Geneva Cemetery.
