He was born Oct. 26, 1946, in Bradenton and was a lifelong resident of Manatee County. He was security and night watchman for the Bell Fish Co. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Shelly Kidd of Georgia; sons Leslie of Palmetto and Randolph of North Carolina; sisters Helen of Cocoa Beach, and Dorothy Hudnall and Connie Wolfe, both of Jacksonville, and Barbara Judson of Iowa; brothers James H. of Palmetto and Noel of Pineland; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Mansion Chapel. The service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Palm View Cemetery in Palmetto.
