FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. LILLA CATON HELD THIS MORNING

Funeral services for Mrs. Lilla O. Caton, 78 years old, were held at the Hays Service Rooms at 10 o'clock Thursday morning. The Rev. J. D. Prater, pastor of the Centenary Methodist church, conducted the services and burial was in Worsley cemetery.

During the services D. R. McGiboney, O. N. Eddlemon, Karl Kuhn and W. R. Jordan sang "Rock of Ages" and "The Old Rugged Cross." They were accompanied by Mrs. C. C. Earp. Pallbearers were J. W. Fewell, O. M. Mason, Ray Rinehart, W. S. Caton, Owen Hedges and A. C. Stratton.

Mrs. Caton suffered a paralytic stroke last April, from which she never recovered. With her at the time of her death was her son, William S. Caton, of Long Beach, Calif.

One of the pioneer residents of Vernon county, Mrs. Caton formerly lived in the Bronaugh neighborhood. Following the death of her husband more than twenty-five years ago, she came to Nevada and had lived here since.
