Mrs. Emma C. Belton
The funeral for Mrs. Emma Jean Conner Belton, 43, of Rt.1, Critz, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Collins Funeral Home Chapel, Bassett. Burial will be in Patrick Memorial Gardens, Stuart. She died Monday in an automobile accident.
Mrs. Belton attended John D. Bassett High School and had been employed at the local DuPont plant for 17 years.
Surviving are her husband, Michael Ray Belton of the home; her father, John Conner of Woolwine; her mother, Mrs. Kitty Hollandsworth Whitaker of Rt. 4, Bassett; two sisters, Mrs. Joyce Handy of Spencer and Mrs. Patricia Cannoy of Rt. 5, Martinsville; one brother, Kenneth Hollandsworth of Houston, Texas, and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ella Conner of Woolwine.
The family will receive friends at Collins Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, and other times at the home of her mother at Rt. 4, Bassett.
