Funeral services will be held in the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, February 12, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. for longtime Taft resident, Tressie L. Demarest, 88.
Mrs. Demarest was born in Harrison, Arkansas on May 9, 1915 and passed away at her home in Taft on February 9, 2004. Mrs. Demarest moved to Taft in 1945. She worked for Topper's Motel and the Caprice Motel as a clerk for 30 years.
Mrs. Demarest was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Demarest Sr. in 1998. Her survivors include her son and his wife, her grandchildren, her great grandchildren, Jillian. She is also survived by her sister.
