Mary Collins was baptized as Maria in Ballycullane, Tintern parish in Ireland.
Mary was married to Edmond Ring in 1860, see certificate. They had 6 children, later divorcing in 1881.
We don't know where Mary was until early 1890's when she joined her adult children in the Spokane, WA area.
Mary married Martin P Brandon on 3 November, 1899 in Spokane, WA.
Mary married Fred William Button, see certificate, on October 13, 1902. After the marriage, they homesteaded in Champion, 90 miles south of Calgary, Al, Canada. They returned to the US in 1914
In 1920 census, Mary was living in a Spokane hotel.
She lived with her son Charles Ring in Wilbur,Lincoln County, WA until his death. She went back to Spokane,and suffering dementia, was committed to the East State Hospital, Medical Lake,WA. She was buried in Jurue Cemetery, Medical Lake. in 2003, her descendants decided to remove her remains from the unkempt cemetery and reburied her at St. Francis Cemetery in Harrington, WA along side her son and his family.
