Obit notice, Colton Courier:
Joseph D. Morgan, age 72 of 824 Shasta Drive, Colton
Mr. Morgan had lived nearly 34 in Colton, coming to town in 1911. He served several years as police officer and was also a letter carrier. He carried the mail from Colton to San Jacinto from 1916 to 1930.
Survived by his wife Elizabeth and four sons, Harry and Robert of Colton; Jerry of San Bernardino; Hayden of Orange.

The last part of the obit was listed incorrectly in the paper which happens quite often so I just did not list it.

Joseph Draper Morgan my great grandfather married Mary Elizabeth Courtney. He had three sons from a previous marriage. Robert Elmer Morgan, Jerry Morgan, Hayden Morgan. Mary and Joseph had two sons, Harry Morgan, and Herman Otis Morgan. being five sons now. Otis died around the age of two. They traveled by train too California in 1911.
They moved around quite a bit, but Colton was home and they always came back to the Colton area.
