Mrs. Laura Anglin Dies at New Castle

Mrs. Laura Anglin, 86, a native of Montgomery county, and a former resident of Waynetown, died Tuesday morning in New Castle at the home of a daughter, Miss Stella Anglin.

Mrs. Anglin was born Aug. 12, 1860, east of Crawfordsville. She was the daughter of the Rev. Jonathan Martin and Lucetta Chenault Martin.

Surviving, besides the daughter at whose home she died, are three other daughters, Mrs. Lulu Russell, of Coatsville, Mrs. May Doney, of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Chlora Russell of Aurora, Ill.; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A daughter and two sons preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held in New Castle at 10 o'clock Thursday morning, with burial at the Pisgah cemetery near Mace. The funeral party is expected to reach the cemtery (sic) about 1 p. m. Thursday.

One sister, Sarah Threlkeld (44342486) is also buried in Pisgah, and another, Mary J. Morris (44038841) in nearby Mace Cemetery. The first name of Mrs. Anglin's mother is more often "Elouisa" in other records.
