"Your Grandparents lived on the Central Michigan Land Company settlement. It was really a "company town". Church sevices were performed at the schoolhouse. In February of 1908 it was reported that a new bookkeeper was at the Fruit Farm. That same month the first church services were reported. Undoubtable your Grandfather. Services were mentioned at Easter 1908 at the managers house. In April 1908 they mentioned having their own minister and their being two good sermons each Sunday including Sunday school. Rev. O. B. Anstead is named. New bookkeeper is reported by July of 1910. More information if you are interested. Do not know where to stop."
