The wedding of Miss Annie Beetem, daughter of the late Abram Beetem, to Mr. James Eppley, of Washington, D.C. will be solemnized this evening in First Lutheran church (sic).

EPPLEY - BEETEM.
Miss Anna Elizabeth Beetem daughter of the late Abram Beetem was united in marriage last evening at 8 o'clock to Mr. James Kerr Eppley, a pharmacist of Washington, D. C. The ceremony was performed by Rev. G. M. Diffenderfer, in the handsome new First Lutheran church, being the first wedding to solemnized therein since its completion. The church was beautifully decorated with potted plants, etc.
There were only about 40 guests present. The bride was attired in white Crepe de Chene, with Duchess lace, and veil, and carried roses. The brides-maid, Miss Mary Beetem, of Flushing, Long Island, wore white lace over green silk.
The groom was attended by Mr. Richard Gibson, of Alexandria, Va. The ushers were Frank Beetem, H. F Winfield, L. C. Elliott, of York, Pa.
Guests were present from Washingington (sic), D. C., Baltimore, Philadelphia New York, Long Island City, Flushing Lebanon, York, Pottstown, and Harrisburg.
A reception was given at the home of the bride, corner South and West streets, by the bride's brother, J. R. Beetem and Mrs. Beetem, of Flushing, Long Island.

Dr. James K. Eppley, a native of York county (sic), died yesterday morning at his home in Chicago, Ill., after an illness of three years resulting from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Dr. Eppley is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Beetem Eppley, daughter of the late Abram and Mary Beetem, of Carlisle. Mrs. Mervin Coyle, of Carlisle R.D. 6, is a niece, and Dr. Charles Beetem, of Baltimore, a brother-in-law.
Dr. Eppley was born near York. He was engaged in the drug business in Washington, D.C., until about twenty years ago when he opened the wholesale drug business in Chicago which he conducted until stricken ill three years ago.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the J.C. Lutz and Son funeral parlors, North Hanover street (sic). Burial will be in Ashland cemetery (sic). The body is expected to arrive in Harrisburg at 9:30 o'clock Monday morning and will be brought here immediately for the service.
