Edwards Chapel Baptist Church, 105 Timothy Place, Athens, Georgia 30606 is named for Joseph R. Edwards, my great-grandfather. His 2nd wife was Minda J. Carey and they had one son, Justus Edwards. Minda died shortly after birth of son and Joseph married Lessie Kytle. Joseph's mother's first name was Elmira.
