Mrs. Sara Barton, 84, widow of R. Melrose Barton, died at her home October 5, after a long illness. Mrs. Barton was born in Ripley January 24, 1856, the daughter of the late Harvey and Dorothy Hanson Chandler, but came to the East Dexter home when she married Mr. Barton many years ago.
