Mrs. Achter had been living here the past two years after moving from her farm home in the town of Stockbridge.
She was born Sept. 15, 1879 in the town of Stockbridge, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ziegan. She was married to Mr. Achter Nov. 5, 1905 at St. Mary’s Church here. Mr. Achter died Nov. 12, 1943.
Survivors include two stepchildren, John Achter of New Holstein and Henry Achter of the town of Brothertown and a brother, Julius Ziegan of Milwaukee. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at the Pfeffer Funeral home and at St. Mary’s church here. Rev. Joseph Bartelme will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
