Cody was a cook at Chili's, Fenders and Brick Oven Pizza and was a member of the Southside Community Church.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Diane and Barry Self of Paragould; father Marlon Wayne Shopher of Bradford, AR; brothers, Joshua Marlon Shopher of Paragould and Blake Alan Self of Brookland; sister, Emily Ann Shopher of Paragould; Maternal grandparents, Woodrow Wilson and Lodema Jordan of Paragould; Paternal grandparents, Garland and Patricia Shopher of Bradford, AR and step grandparents, Larry and Joy Self of Jonesboro. Several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
