Jack Leroy Eatchel, 77, passed away on October 22, 2009 in West Valley City, Utah.


He was born January 14, 1932 in Murray, Utah to Lloyd William and Violet Poulson Eatchel.


He married Donna Cowdell in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 26, 1953. She passed away on November 11, 1994. He loved the great outdoors, crocheting, and bowling.


Jack is survived by sons, Dale J. Eatchel and Alan L. Eatchel; daughter, Joyce (James) Hennessy; grandchildren, Amy (Shane) Zdunich, Jason P. Smith, Amanda L. (Russell) Middlemiss, Andrew Eatchel, Falysia Eatchel, and Whitney Eatchel; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Vickie (Scott) Adamson. Preceded in death by a daughter, LaDawna Eatchel.


Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sandy City Cemetery, 9000 South 700 East. There will be a viewing held on Monday from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street (100 East), Midvale.
