Grandma was born on the Beck family farm just outside of Runnells, Iowa. Her parents were Fred Lake and Hazel Bertha (Morey) Beck.
Leona first married Benner Virgil Graham on Nov. 26, 1925. Together they had two sons, Benner Eugene and Donald Ray. Their son Gene died in 1945 leaving a son that was born posthumously. Benner and Leona adopted Gene's son, Norman.
Following Benner Virgil's death Leona married Heber Davis. Heber adopted Leona's child Norman.
Leona died in Des Moines, IA of lung cancer. Her name appears on each of her husband's markers. She is actually buried with her 2nd husband, Heber.
