"E M" worked for many years for the City of Belen. He retired from the public school system.
He was also a member of the parish of Our Lady of Belen Church, and was very "active at Ambercare Home Health Senior Citizens Center in Belen, where he was always willing to share his warmth and good cheer with others.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 37-years, Manuelita.
"E. M. is survived by his children, Trinidad (Trinnie), Miguel (Mike), and Manuel of Belen; Isidore (Lolo), Helen Rodriguez-Polley, Cora Marshall, and Alfred of California; and Patricia (Patsy) Pugh of Tennessee. His extended family included 20 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren, and there are numerous other family members, including his sister, Christina Chavez; and many dear friends who will miss him greatly.
No one will miss him more than sons, Mike and Trinnie, who have lived with him and been his devoted companions for the last 23 years.
