Tombstone in the Garrison Cemetery at Fort Anne, Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. George Penlington Audley was born circa 1776 to parents Ralph and Joan in Nantwich, Cheshire, England. About 1800 he was married and a daughter was born about 1801.
He left a will dated 10 May 1806. Since he died only two weeks later it can be inferred that he anticipated death and that it was probably due to illness.
