"Rev. William H. Brandmeyer is the son of William B. Brandmeyer and Whilhemina Rensing Brandmeyer. His date of birth is Feb. 21, 1914. In 1928 Father Brandmeyer graduated from St. Damian's Grade School and from then until 1930 he was privately tutored by Father Henken.
"Father Brandmeyer's formal training for the priesthood was accomplished at St. Henry's in Belleville, St. Louis Preparatory Seminary and Kenrick Seminary. The date of his ordination is June 6, 1937.
Father Brandmeyer served as assistant at St. Michael's in Paderborn and St. Henry's in East St. Louis. He then was named Chaplain at St. Mary's Hospital in East St. Louis. After this he became pastor at St. John Nepomucene Parish with St. Clement's Mission as McLeansboro.
"From 1955 to 1961, Father Brandmeyer served as pastor of St. Joseph's, Lebanon.
In 1961 he moved to St. Libory and is now in his 25th year as pastor there."

"He was born Feb. 21, 1914, in Damiansville to William B. and Wilhelmina Rensing Brandmeyer, and was ordained June 6, 1937, by Bishop Henry Althoff at St. Peter Cathedral, Belleville.
"Rev. Brandmeyer served St. Michael-Paderborn, St. Henry's and St. Mary's Hospital, both in East St. Louis, Immaculate Conception-Kaskaskia, St. John Nepomucene-Dahlgren and McLenasboro Mission, and St. Joseph-Lebanon before going to St. Libory.
"He was also Belleville Deanery CCD Director, served as diocesan director of the National Catholic Rural Life Conference and as a diocesan Marriage Tribunal
judge.
"After retirement, Rev. Brandmeyer will reside at 126 Pullen Blvd., Centralia."
