A 1950 graduate of Montgomery High School, she had worked for UniRoyal and Myers and Wittmer Insurance Agency.
A member of Bethany Christian Church, she was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star, a long-time member of the Jolly Co-Workers Homemakers Club and the Washington Boat Club.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Arthur, whom she married Nov. 23, 1950; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Donald Smoot of Washington; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Janet Arthur of Greenwood; two sisters, Joyce McGuire of San Diego, Calif., and Muriel O'Maley of Fredericksburg, Va.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Her parents, Ralph Norval and Kizzie Sims Walton; a sister, Blanche Fields; a brother, Duane Walton; and two grandchildren, are deceased.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Gill Chapel, with Bro. Don Smoot officiating.
Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery.
