Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in St. Augusta for Joanne J. Benoit who died Thursday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, St. Augusta and after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday evening at the church.
Joanne J. Benoit was born to Herbert and Clara (Rosha) Benoit in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Joanne's work history included working for Sunray Printing, Dietman Sanitation, Tenvoorde Ford, and Gene's Plumbing and Heating. She was also a member of Rockville Area Sportsman Club.
Survivors include her siblings, Bonnie Benoit of St. Augusta, Janet (Wayne) Shamla of Buffalo, Dianne Bauer of Marysville, WA, Ron of St. Augusta, Wayne (Eileen) of St. Augusta, Renee (Mark) Kunkel of Kimball, Karen (Gary) Cater of St. Augusta, Sandy Benoit of St. Augusta; and nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by brother, LeRoy "Butch"; sister, Donna Mae Benoit; sister-in-law, Rosie Benoit; and brothers-in-law, Craig Bauer and Patrick Loesch.
