Pine Plains, NY - Charles H. Dillinger, 76, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at Sharon Hospital, Sharon, CT.
He was born on June 27, 1928 in Poughkeepsie, NY, the son of the late Alfred and Marie (Hart) Dillinger Sr.
Mr. Dillinger was a self-employed carpenter.
On July 11, 1948 in Millbrook, NY he married E. Sis (Schultz) Dillinger. She survives at home.
In addition to his devoted wife survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Terri and John Everett of Clovis, CA; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Peggy Dillinger of Staatsburg, NY; two sisters and brother-in-laws, Darra and Fred Finkle of Stanfordville, NY and Jean and Les Funk of Pine Plains, NY; a brother and sister-in-law, William (Mike) and Janet Dillinger of Stanfordville, NY; a grandson, John Brock Dillinger; three granddaughters, Trisha Crawford, Amy Thompsett, and Heidi Gran, a great granddaughter, Madison Thompsett, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Dillinger was predeceased by five sisters and one brother, Marie Chadwell, Helen Schultz, Lucia Hawks, Merna Goyke, Myrtle Snyder, and Alfred Dillinger Jr.
There are no calling hours.
Graveside service 11 AM Tuesday May 17, 2005 at the Stanford Cemetery in Stanfordville, NY.
