Christine M. Klopp, 82, formerly of Lebanon, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the E.C.C. Retirement Village-Albright Campus, Myerstown. She was the wife of Alfred A. Klopp who died December 28, 1980. Born in Lebanon, on July 8, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Helen (Smith) Honafius. She worked in the laundry department of the VA Medical Center, Lebanon, for many years. She is survived by sons, Fred, husband of Sandy Klopp of Lebanon, Richard, husband of Diane Klopp of Lebanon, John, husband of Donna Klopp of Myerstown and Robert, husband of Olga Klopp of Lebanon; 14 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; brother, Harry Honafius of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sons, Charles and Michael J. Klopp; grandson, Michael J. Klopp, III; sister, Bernice Fegley; and brothers, Elwood and Harold Honafius. Services will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn., P.O. Box 1263, Lebanon, PA 17042.
