Dr. Shimpei Sakaguchi, 75, of Wheat Ridge died March 7. Services were March 12 in Highland Cemetery. The body was cremated.
Dr. Sakaguchi was born in Brighton. He was a surgeon.
Survivors include one daughter, Laura Novasad; four brothers, Kay, Keizo and Goro, all of Brighton, and Ray of Denver; four sisters, Miyo Miki of El Monte, Calif., Fujiyo Tashiro of Brighton, Yaye Ohashi of Mililani, Hawaii, and Toshiye of San Diego; and four grandchildren.
