Cindy Kay Swearengin Chastain
Services for Cindy Kay Swearengin Chastain, 25, of 884 Jones Road, Anniston, will be Friday at 2 pm at Cornerstone Church of God with Revs. Michael Cox, Mike Brasher and Flavis Burroughs officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Alexandria, with Miller Funeral Home of Oxford in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 tonight. The body will be at the church an hour before services.
Mrs. Chastain died Tuesday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Richard T. Chastain of Anniston; a son, Justin B. Chastain of Anniston; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Swearengin of Anniston; a sister, Connie Traywick of Oxford; a brother, Michael Swearengin of Anniston; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wheeling of Anniston.
Pallbearers will be Chris Chastain, Kenneth Bowman, Steve Cook, Scott Traywick, Randy Burrage and Billy Birchfield.
A lifelong Calhoun County resident, Mrs. Chastain was a member of Cornerstone Church of God. She was a 1988 graduate of Oxford High School.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
