Rebecca was the daughter of Elizabeth Reaves (born about 1777) and Stephen Adams (born about 1772).

Rebecca married William Rogers on August 10, 1823 in Worcestershire, England.

Their children were: Mary Ann 1824-1827, William 1826-1867, Thomas 1827-1880, Susannah 1829-1909, Mary Rebecca 1831-1909, Ann 1832-1873, Emma 1834-1904, and possibly 2 more children.

Rebecca was a servant girl in the Rogers household and she and William eloped. He was cut off from his family and later died while she was pregnant with their youngest daughter Emma. Rebecca and her children joined the LDS church and most of them came to Utah. She arrived last of all, only to freeze in the snows of Wyoming and die the day after she arrived in Salt Lake City.
