Armel Adair was killed in Dallas Monday night when he stepped in front of an automobile. He was taken to a Dallas hospital immediately after the accident around 6 p.m. where he died at 9:30 p.m. Mr. Adair resided in Brownsboro, and is survived by his wife and two daughters; three sisters, Mrs. Jack Browning of Athens, Mrs. Lou Wells, Houston, and Mrs. H.H. Richardson, Brownsboro; two brothers, J.P. Adair and E.M. Belcher of Chandler. The body was returned to Athens by Carroll and Lehr Funeral Home.
