She was married to Charles Mickle on Sept. 10, 1885. To this union were born eight children, six daughters and two sons; Mabel M., wife of Artemus Baxter; Lulu B., wife of Kenneth Regan; Ruby L., wife of Harry James; Veneita A., wife of Edwin Dennis; Vernon J., and Kenneth C. Two daughters, Eva Grace and Ruth Evelyn who died in infancy.
Mrs. Mickle joined the United Brethren church of Fenton in early girlhood. She spent her entire life in this community. She was a lover of home and was most happy when there. She leaves her husband, six children and 14 grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. Frances Burns and Mrs Vora Hogarth, both of Fenton also survive. One sister, Mrs. Ida Givens passed away August 6, 1915. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends and neighbors to mourn her death.
The funeral of Mrs. Mickle was held Tuesday afternoon in the Fenton U.B. church.
The floral offerings were many and beautiful which spoke of the high esteem in which she was held. Two lovely hymns, The Old Rugged Cross and Beautiful Isle of Somewhere.
