Phyllis Virginia Calloway 47 of Salem died Thursday at the Oak Hills Manor Nursing Home in Salem. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Kirby Funeral Home Chapel in Mountain Home with Rev. Troy Melton officiating. Interment took place at the Arkana Cemetery.
Pallbearers included Junior Unger, Joey Calloway, Patrick Calloway, Ri (unclear) Welch and David Darland.
Born Sept 21, 1934 at Mountain Home, she was the daughter of the late Stella Gardner Calloway and Arthur N. Calloway. She was also preceded in death by one brother.
Survivors includes two brothers, Harold Calloway and Grayson Calloway both of Mountain Home, three sisters, Irene Darland of Melbourne, Lillian Welch of Leesville, La., and Opal Calloway of Mountain Home and several nieces and nephews.
