WEST POINT - Louise Thomas Robinson, 88, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at the Baldwyn Nursing Facility in Baldwyn. She was born Nov. 2, 1917, in Clay County to Laura Hazelwood and Will Preston Thomas. She was a retired sales lady for McGaughy's Department Store and Rothert's Grocery Store. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She married Thomas Jesse Robinson Jr. on March 19, 1944; he preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 2006.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Funderburg officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point.
Survivors include one daughter, Becky Burleson and husband, Jimmy, of Tupelo; one son, Tommy Robinson and wife, Jill, of Fayetteville, Ga.; five grandchildren, Shannon Reyome and husband, Chuck, of McDonough, Ga., Matt McNeece of Whitehall, Ark., Todd Robinson and wife, Melissa, of Woodstock, Ga., Mark Burleson of Tupelo and Scott Burleson of Germantown, Tenn.; three great-grandchildren, Brittanie Reyome, Madison Reyome and Brayden Reyome, all of McDonough, Ga.; one brother, John Hollie Thomas and wife, Frances, of West Point.
Pallbearers will be Matt McNeece, Todd Robinson, George Mason, Mark Burleson, Scott Burleson and Mark Davis.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
