James Barley
Funeral services were conducted for James Barley, 48, of 2037 Iowa St, yesterday afternoon at the Mercer Funeral Parlor and interment was made at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Barley, who passed away Monday, was a resident of this city for 20 years and before his illness was employed at the Granite City Steel Company. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias.
Those surviving him are his widow, Minnie, a daughter, Mrs Audrey Murphy of East St Louis, two sisters, Irma Barley of Chicot, ARK and Mrs Eula Hunt of East Prairie, MO and a brother Arl Barley of Chicot, ARK.
