"Lou" Amato passed away in Auburn on July 21, 2008 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Colorado Springs, CO. Louise's passions were being a loving wife and mother, working in her garden and being with her family.
Louise is survived by two daughters, Rhonda O'Brien (Tom) of Medford, Ore. and Pat Kline of Roseville, Calif.; two sons, Bob Amato (Pam) of N. San Juan, Calif., and Kerry Amato of Auburn, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margie Armstrong of Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Crespino "Curly"; her daughter, Aletha "Lee" Amato Callison; her parents Helen and Harvey Parker; her brother, Ray Parker; and sister, Edna Parker.
The funeral will take place at Chapel of the Hills on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 12 noon. A graveside service will follow at the New Auburn Cemetery.
