Mrs. Phoebe Benner, widow of Washington Benner, died on Friday evening at 5 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harland Stauffer, of Kinzer, from infirmities due to her advanced age of eighty-eight years. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Harland Stauffer, of Kinzer, with whom she resided; Millard S., of Terre Hill; Mrs. Harry J. Stauffer, of Goodville, and Mrs. E.A. Slaymaker, of Kinzer. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Thomas Weiler and Mrs. Ellen Foreman, of Morgantown; Mrs. Amanda Bard, of Hinkletown; Joseph, Samuel and Mrs. Rebecca Welsh, all of Reading.
