In Alfred, N. Y., April 11th, 1864, Esther Stillman, relict of the late Maxson Stillman, aged eighty-eight years, seven months and 24 days. She had from youth been a faithful follower of the Saviour, and her life-long trust shone out clearly even in the last flickering of life's feeble taper. She was a member of the First Seventh-day Baptist Church of Alfred. N. V. H.

He married (2) Hopestill Beebe. Joseph C. Crandall was son of Joseph and Ann (Langworthy); son of Rev. Joseph and Deborah (Burdick); son of Rev. John Crandall of Newport R.I., and Westerly, R.I., who came from England to Boston 1634 or '35.
