Leo Carl Wacker, son of the late Henry John Wacker and Martha Freida Serrien Wacker, was born May 30, 1934, in Lincoln, Kan., and departed this life on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009 at the age of 75.
Mr. Wacker retired from the United States Air Force having served in the Vietnam war

Leo married Linnie Bell Waynick, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Caroline Hanson.

Survivors include two grandsons, Jeff Hanson, of Tuttle, Okla., and Elton Newsom, of Newalla, Okla.; a step-son, Franklin Akers, of Kennett; son-in-law, Thomas R. Hanson, of Newalla, Okla.; one brother, Ralph Wacker, of Kansas; one sister, Esther White, of Salem, Ore., and other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 11, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 11 in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
