Lorraine was born September 25, 1928 to Heber Jay Searle and Edith Fitzgerald of Salt Lake City, Utah. She is survived by two sisters: Ardie and Nadine.
Lorraine was married on June 23, 1953 to Harold D. Judd in the Salt Lake Temple. They have two children, Chantel Parker and H. Shaun Judd (Kristen); both of Salt Lake City. They were later divorced.
Lorraine later married William F. Bailess on September 28, 1996 in Salt Lake City. They remained married until his passing on November 26, 2007.
Lorraine was an active member of the LDS Church, where she loved being a visiting teacher. She was a devoted friend who engaged in service up until the very end of her life. She will be greatly missed.
Lorraine will be dearly missed by all her grandchildren: Zacquary, Zaben, London, Morgan, Ashley, Jordan, and Sora (great-grandchild).
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, where friends and family may pay their respects from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
