When I was a little girl about 10 or 11 he used to drive to Elkhart to see my grandmother Fannie Walling. She was widowed from his brother John R. Walling. He drove a black about 1953 Ford or Chevrolet. He always wore a black suit,
and hat. His car had some kind of hand controls. He walked with canes or braces of some kind then. His hair was silver white. I thought he was really old then. This was 1956, 1957.
He lived until 1970.
