Mr. Harold Kenneth Bogue Sr., 82, of Garrison, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Nacogdoches Medical Center, Nacogdoches, Texas. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Harold was born in Timpson, Texas on April 1, 1926, the son of the late Joseph Buell and Jimmie Vera (Corley) Bogue. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, was a member of First Baptist Church, Garrison and was a 30 year Mason. Harold previously served as Constable and Justice of the Peace for Nacogdoches County.

Survivors include son Ken Bogue and wife Mary of Grapeland, Texas, stepson Kenneth Sims and wife Lou of Greenwood, La., stepdaughter Gale Smith and special friend Lynn Brown of Nacogdoches, 2 grandchildren, Erik Bogue and wife Ericka and Heather Bogue, 4 stepgrandchildren, Chase and Jared Sims, Tyler Smithe and Slade Skyes, 2 great grandchildren, Jordan and Ashtyn Bogue and 3 step greatgrandchildren, Cameron, Sebastian and Benny. Harold is also survived by sisters Shirley Buechner and husband Ray of Rio Rancho, NM., and Janice Ballard of San Augustine, Texas, first wife Doris Bogue of Garrison, second wife, Emogene Bogue of Garrison and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Vivian White and Hilda Andrade.

Taylor Funeral Home in Timpson, Texas was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
