Ruby led a dedicated life to her Catholic faith and her family. As matriarch, she will be sadly missed by her two surviving children, and her four most beloved and precious grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother.
Grams, as Mrs. Angelle was affectionately known, entered the gates of heaven with a heart full of love for her entire family, nieces, nephews and the countless friends she made through her 25 years of service at the Lafayette Council on Aging. She was an excellent cook and seamstress and enjoyed a beautiful garden, but delighted most in the gift of time she had nurturing and caring for her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph G. Angelle; her son, Gregory Angelle; her sister, Barbara Boudreaux; her brothers, Russell Gannard Sr. and Herbert Gannard; and parents.
