Bauman Christina, 71,widow of John Michael Bauman, died at her home north of town Tuesday from heart trouble. ~11-18-1909 One of the pioneer settlers of Noble County, she had been a resident of the farm where her death occurred for 52 years. She died from apoplexy. She was a native of Wurttemberg, Germany, coming to this country with her parents when a young lady. She leaves 9 children, Mrs. Rose Schlichtenmyer, Mrs. E. Schlichtenmyer, Louisa and Katy Bauman of Allen Twp, Mrs. Charles Gillian and Mrs. William Weimer of near Avilla, and John, William and Fred Bauman. ^ 11-17-1909
