"Myrtle Chesebro Myers, Sherburne, died April 30, 1964, at her home following a long illness. She was born in South Brookfield, November 27, 1877, the daughter of Harry and Mary Armstrong Chesebro. She spent her childhood in Brookfield aned attended local schools. Her first husband, Bouton Whitney, who she married in 1896, died in 1934. In June 30, 1940, she married Grant Myers who died June 30, 1943. Surviving are five children: Albert and Charles Whitney of Sherburne, Theodore Whitney, Town of Columbus, Mrs. Robert Johnson, Town of Columbus and Mrs. Inez Benson, Sherburne. A brother, Charles Chesebro, of Norwich, also susrvives. She was a member of the Sherburne Methodist Church. The funeral was held from her late home, Sherburne, Sunday, May 3, with the Rev.
