Services for Mr. Almyr Brown, 77, of Bossier City will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday May 1 at the Bonner Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Merlin Liverman and the Rev. David Terry will officiate. burial will be at Cottage Grove Cemetery, near Benton, La.
Mr. Brown, a retired rig builder, died Sunday May 1, 1981 at P&S Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Plain Dealing, La. Mr. Brown was a member of Barksdale Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Brown of Bossier City, one son, Frank Brown, of Benton, and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Leo Jones, Leon Jones, Dan Powell, Hugh Cates, John Neblett and Roy Cobb.
