Wilma "Willie" C. Price, 53, died Sept. 29, 2008, at Providence Alaska Medical Center. A service was at Evergreen Memorial Chapel.

Willie was born Oct. 25, 1954, in Anchorage to Charles W. and Janice V. (Vial) Smith. She graduated from East High School in 1972. Willie lived and worked the majority of her life in Anchorage. She had a variety of career fields ranging from receptionist to bail bondsman. Her favorite job was as the receptionist and "office Mom" at Brena, Bell and Clarkson, P.C. "Willie, having been born in Alaska when it was still a territory, used to jokingly refer to herself as a terrorist," her family wrote. "She enjoyed music in any form, anything from playing her piano to going out for a night of karaoke. She was a cartoon fanatic and still actively collected comic books. She also loved nothing more then cooking a big family dinner and having anyone and everyone over to eat it. "Willie's heart was big and her love was forever. She lived her life for her friends and family."

She is survived by her mother, Janice Vial of Anchorage; father, Charles W. Smith of Oregon; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Benjamin Botting of Anchorage; granddaughter, Ryan of Anchorage; brother, Wesley Smith of Seward; sister, Velma LeDoux of Anchorage; aunt, Joyce Spencer of Anchorage; and many cousins.
