MOBILE COUNTY - Brad Cooper, owner of the Carpet Factory Outlet, died Saturday at a local hospital. He was 44.
Cooper, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, was a member of West Mobile Baptist Church.
He was coach for the Mobile Thrillers fast-pitch softball team and a former softball coach at Semmes Community Park.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Whitney Spinks Cooper; two daughters, Rachel Cooper Adair and Kelsey Anne Cooper; his mother, Julie Cooper; one brother, Craig Cooper; and his grandmother, Carmen Brown, all of Mobile.
Visitation will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Three Notch Road today from noon until the 3 p.m. service. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
