Park Ridge - Franklin Gardner Bradley, a professional acrobat for 41 years, died yesterday at his home, 74 Local Street, Park Ridge, New Jersey, January 5, 1962.
Mr. Bradley, his wife Hazel, and sister-in-law, Miss Shirley Emerich, were known as the "Three Franks" when they performed their serial act at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City, Palisades Amusement Park, and with many circuses.
Son of the late Franklin and Alice (Gardiner) Bradley, Frank was born in Albany, New York, attended school there, and was a sailor briefly before his first performance as an acrobat in 1909. His final performance was in 1950 with a circus on the West Coast.
Surviving are his wife and a sister, Mrs. Jeanette Timmers of Albany, New York. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. at the Spearing Funeral Home, 155 Kinderkamack Road. The Rev. Wilbur E. Ivins, pastor of the Pascack Reformed Church, will officiate.
Interment will be in the George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, New Jersey January 8, 1962.
