George E. Applegate Interred in Clear Creek Cemetery

Last rites for George Eugene Applegate were held at 4 p.m. November 26, 1949.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Applegate, and two sons, Joe Eugene Applegate and Estes Lee Applegate.

Also he was survived by five daughters, Bertha Thorp, Winnie Smith, Adelia Perkins, Jessie Mae Applegate, and Alene Garden.

He was survived by 13 grandchildren and six great grand children.

George E. Applegate was born March 29, 1870, and died at an undetermined time in Flynn last week.

He was found lying in his yard Friday by Jakie Hoogterp, but time and death was not established.

Burial services were held at Clear Creek Cemetery, Saturday, November 26, at 4 p.m. with Brother R. E. Clendennen officiating.

The Davis Cozart funeral home handled the arrangements.
