I am the youngest daughter of Myrl Louise Stone Wilson. She was the second oldest of 10 children. She was born in Vinita, Oklahoma, to Alvin Charles Stone & Viola Ruth Smelser, and moved to Texas as a child. She married Daddy,Forest William Wilson and they had 3 daughters.

My oldest sister, June (9/19/1939), who lives in Wisconsin, met and married Marley Chesky (we called him Mike)while he was stationed in Texas in the Navy. They were blessed with three sons.

~ John David "J.D." Gaddis, her only child, and our only grandchild, was killed 11/3/2008 when he was 16 years old. I want to thank you if you feel led to visit him and leave tokens, it is much appreciated by his family.

I remember Mama was always a hard worker, and she never complained. I remember that every day when we were grade school age, as it got close to the time for Daddy to come home, she would bathe all 3 of us and put us in white sundresses.

Remember, this was before permanent press, so she ironed everything we wore. But, the fact that Daddy was coming home was a big daily event and we had to be ready for him.

I was named Catherine Ruth; Catherine for my grandma Wilson, Louisa Catherine, and Ruth for my grandma Stone, Viola Ruth. I always said those names were better than what Mama could have picked, Louisa Viola!

I want to give a special "thank you" to a special lady for sponsoring this page. Thank you Blessings ~Carolina Angel~ In Memory of my Family.
