She was married to William Benson Bowser of Armstrong County; and between them they had 13 children. All except one, (Mary Elizabeth Yohe who died in 1928), were living at the time of her death. Her husband, who preceded her in death, passed away on May 20, 1942.
Funeral services were held at the Free Methodist Church, and internment was in the North Butler Cemetery.
